No. 001. to 005:
The standard height of the basshorn will be 5m. It can be adjusted to the height of the room and your personal listening preferences.
Each 5m stack-housing unit has 4x 15" drivers, powering a massive 24 square meters Basshorn size.
If the Bass-Horn will be installed at the back wall, the size is the whole wall, so you are sitting "in" the bass-horn.
Horn Technology
ACAPELLA has been a technology leader in the design and manufacture of horn loudspeakers for almost 50 years. In 1978, in cooperation with the University of Aachen, we invented the spherical horn.
In contrast to conventional horns, our spherical horn emits sound waves in the shape of a sphere. This corresponds to the ideal principle of the one-point-source. Without distortion or coloration, the shape of our horn combines the extreme dynamics and speed of a nearly massless diaphragm with the efficiency of a horn.
Nothing gets to the heart of our speakers in the audiophile world. The new patented hyperspherical horn, which allows listening at the highest sonic level and guarantees an exciting musical experience, is the pinnacle of our knowledge.
The new Hyperspherical
We take it a step further with our new patented hyperspherical horn. It is the pinnacle of our expertise. Beyond the 180-degree horn opening of the classic spherical horn, this asymmetrical horn has many advantages. There are significant technical advantages to this design, in addition to its elegant and sophisticated appearance. In our regular speaker series with 580mm and 780mm horns, the frequency range of our hyperspherical horn has been increased from the usual three to five octaves.
With the new 1700mm hyperspherical horns, it goes even further - up to seven octaves!
The sound is even more natural because the music signal is now transmitted over a much wider frequency range with maximum dynamics.
Full Control
In order to unleash the full potential of each Hypersphere speaker, the system will be delivered with even further improved Acapella Energèia amplifier to give you the full control over your music. You don't need to think about the perfect electronics, cables and tools, you get the maximum and perfect matching setup in a whole. The Acapella Hypersphere concept is created like a Formula 1 setup, as an experience, created by the technical staff, the service crew, adapted to "your specific listening room" and finally installed taking into account your personal listening preferences.
The technical equipment, which is specially built for this purpose, can be installed in a separate "machine room" so that the only thing you will see is the HYPERSPHERE and maybe the turntable.
As for the sources, you can of course connect all your favorite sources, be it vinyl playback, streaming, and more.
